The Giants will welcome the surprisingly competent Cardinals to MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
Despite being projected as one of the worst teams in football and traveling east, Arizona is a slight one-point favorite.
And for good reason, given how these two teams have looked so far this season.
Big Blue kicked off the year with an impressive win over the Cowboys, but it hasn’t been pretty since Jaxson Dart went down with a season-ending knee injury against the Rams.
The Giants were blown out in that game and barely survived last week against the lowly Titans, who were a Jevon Holland interception in the end zone away from stealing a win.
Jameis Winston is expected to remain under center despite a shaky showing in his first start, completing just 14 of 22 passes for 118 yards against Tennessee.
The Giants have managed only 18 points over their past two games, with all 12 of last week’s points coming on field goals.
Arizona’s 1-2 record, meanwhile, doesn’t quite tell the whole story.

Franklin The Cardinals opened with an impressive 26-14 road win over the Chargers and gave the unbeaten 49ers all they could handle Sunday, overcoming a 17-point deficit before ultimately falling, 36-30.
Jacoby Brissett threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns in that contest, while rookie Jeremiyah Love added 90 yards on the ground and looked like the player the Cardinals were hoping for when they took him No. 4 overall in April.
The Giants’ offense simply hasn’t shown enough without Dart to inspire much confidence, especially against an Arizona team that has already demonstrated it can put up points against quality competition.
The play: Cardinals -1 (-115, Caesars Sportsbook)
LAST WEEK: 0-1 (Seahawks L)
