Make Page Six a Preferred Source Tyra Banks doesn’t look back fondly on 2002’s “Halloween: Resurrection” — “like, not even a tiny bit” — because she claims producers cut most of her big death scene.
The “America’s Next Top Model” personality told “Entertainment Weekly” in an interview published Friday that she didn’t even intend to end up in the horror sequel.
“I was like, ‘I’m not going to do that.’ What is it going to do for my career? I’m a model, and I need to do things that are kind of different to get this acting career that I want,” she recalled telling her agent over their desire for her to replicate the career boost Josh Hartnett scored after appearing in 1998’s “Halloween: H20.”
Banks remembered her agent at the time telling her, “No, Josh Hartnett did ‘Halloween,’ and look what he’s doing now!”
The “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum wound up taking the small but important role of Nora, though the supermodel said it ended up being a waste of her time.
“So I was like, yeah, OK, this is going to do it for me,” Banks recalled of her decision to go ahead with the role.

“Not only did it not do anything for me, they cut the damn death scene,” she said. While Nora was killed by iconic slasher Michael Myers in the movie, the pivotal kill took place mostly off-camera.
Without naming the agent, Banks told the outlet she was “promised the career of Josh Hartnett, of an actor, and promised an iconic death scene that will last forever, and neither of them happened.”
The “Modelland” author, now 52, joked, “So, I have beef with ‘Halloween 8!’”
Despite her dashed expectations in the horror sequel, however, Banks enjoyed plenty on-camera success.
In 2000’s “Life Size,” she starred as a doll brought to life opposite Lindsey Lohan, and that same year, she co-starred in “Coyote Ugly” alongside Piper Perabo and Maria Bello.
But it’s on the small screen that Banks has truly dominated. In addition to heading up “America’s Next Top Model,” she also co-hosted “Dancing With the Stars,” and appeared on “The View,” “Project Runway” and “Celebrity Watch Party.”
From 2005 to 2010, she hosted how own talk show, “The Tyra Banks Show.”
