Georgia diner calls 911 to try to dodge $63 Red Lobster bill, cops say

Make New York Post a Preferred Source A man tried to dodge his dinner bill by faking a medical emergency and calling 911 at a Georgia Red Lobster last week, according to authorities.

Pictured is the exterior of a Red Lobster restaurant. wolterke – stock.adobe.com Abdul Rasheed, 26, wound up essentially calling cops on himself on Sept. 24 when he tried to skip out on his $63 bill at the seafood joint located on Highway 5 in Douglasville, Ga, WSB-TV Atlanta reported.

When emergency responders arrived, they found Rasheed perfectly fine — but apparently unwilling to pay for his feast.

Instead of an ambulance trip, Rasheed got an exclusive ride in the back of a cop car.

Douglasville police arrested him and charged him with theft of services, unlawful conduct during a 911 call, and making a false report, police said.
