Suspected overdose reported miles from Ole Miss after 22-year-old had ‘synthetic kratom products’ in possession

Make New York Post a Preferred Source Another suspected overdose was reported Thursday in Oxford, Mississippi – the same college town where two University of Mississippi students were recently found dead on the same day.

The 22-year-old victim, who is not a student and survived the early morning ordeal, had “synthetic kratom products” in their possession, police said.

However there is “no indication” that the kratom found near Thursday’s victim “was purchased in the Oxford area,” according to police.
