Make Page Six a Preferred Source Rick Ross was arrested in Florida on Thursday for domestic violence, Page Six can confirm.
The rapper was charged with battery by strangulation and battery, according to Miami-Dade jail records obtained by Page Six.
He was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at 6:10 a.m.
Ross is being held on $5,000 and $1,000 bonds for the respective charges.
His arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 22, according to CBS News.
Page Six has reached out to Ross’ rep for comment.
It’s unclear if Ross’ arrest is related to his ex-girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick’s recent physical abuse allegations against Ross.
