The Southampton area property comprises four parcels of land — as well as two houses, we hear — and Cuomo will use the purchase as an investment property, East End insiders tell us.
A main house on the waterfront property that was once a lodge includes 9-bedrooms.
There’s also a guest house, plus de rigueur Hamptons touches like a tennis court, a pool, a gym and a wine cellar, according to a listing.
A source tells us that Cuomo picked the spot to be close to his brother, NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo, as they’ve been known in the area to fish together in the summers.
The former pol still maintains an apartment in New York City.
A rep for the Cuomo, 68, did not immediately comment.
Politico reported that Suffolk County Clerk’s Office records indicate the property was acquired by Cuomo via an LLC — and that it was a cash deal.
The former 2025 NYC mayoral candidate has been a fixture in the Hamptons in the past: Last September, he gave a speech on antisemitism to more than 500 people at a service at the Hampton Synagogue in Westhampton Beach.
He’s also been a regular at political power dining spot 75 Main, and has been seen hanging at his buddy Billy Joel’s beachfront property.
Earlier this year, Cuomo was named as a cochair a joint venture between the owner of the New York Stock Exchange and the crypto exchange OKX.
Sources told us on Wednesday, as news of the Long Island real estate deal emerged, that he’s en route to Singapore to speak at TOKEN2049, the world’s largest crypto event, as a speaker.
