Another celebrity contestant was sent packing this week on “Dancing With the Stars.”
Singer Taylor Hanson and his pro partner, Britt Stewart, were eliminated at the end of Tuesday night’s episode, themed “Yacht Rock Night,” after their Foxtrot to “What a Fool Believes” earned them an 18/30.
This week saw the remaining Season 35 contestants bust a move to “smooth grooves, soft-rock classics and iconic hits that defined the yacht rock era,” per an ABC press release.
Ahead of the elimination, co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro revealed that “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” star Guillermo Rodriguez (with partner Witney Carson) and Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson (with partner Emma Slater) were also in danger of going home.
The music of Daryl Hall & John Oates — commonly known as Hall & Oates — provided the inspiration behind three of this week’s performances.
“Glee” alum Harry Shum Jr. and partner Jenna Johnson earned a 24/30 for their Jive to the hit “You Make My Dreams (Come True),” while “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum Tatyana Ali and partner Jan Ravnik scored a 21/30 for their Quickstep to the duo’s “Maneater.”
Elsewhere, “Save the Last Dance” actress Julia Stiles — who got emotional over low scores and a rib injury this week — and partner Ezra Sosa’s Salsa to the Hall & Oates classic “I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do)” garnered them a 19/30.
The group Toto also saw two of their songs represented, with Olympian gold medalist Amber Glenn and partner Pasha Pashkov earning a 24/30 for their Foxtrot to “Hold the Line,” and “Step Up” actress Jenna Dewan and partner Val Chmerkovskiy scoring a 21/30 for their Samba to the band’s hit “Africa.”

“Bachelorette” alum Tyler Cameron and partner Sharna Burgess’ Jive earned them a 17/30, while “The Traitors” alum Maura Higgins and partner Mark Ballas received a 22/30 for their Quickstep to “Turn Your Love Around” by George Benson
“Summer House” star Ciara Miller and partner Brandon Armstrong earned a 18/30 for their Cha Cha to “Never Too Much” by Luther Vandross, while comedian Connor Wood and partner Rylee Arnold scored a 20/30 for their Foxtrot to “Everywhere” by Fleetwood Mac.
Paralympian gold medalist Ezra French and partner Daniella Karagach garnered a 21/30 for their Foxtrot to “Just the Two of Us” by Grover Washington Jr. (feat. Bill Withers).
Rodriguez and Carson’s Foxtrot to “Escape (The Piña Colada Song)” by Rupert Holmes earned them a 15/30 as Olson and Slater’s Paso Doble to “Easy Lover” by Philip Bailey & Phil Collins scored them a 18/30.
So far this season, we’ve seen “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Conner Leavitt, “Love Thy Nader” star Sarah Jane Nader and celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis go home after failing to impress the judges and viewers at home.
New episodes of “DWTS” air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, and will stream on Hulu the following day.
