Michael Goodwin’s outstanding piece describing Gov. Hochul’s leftward-shifting positions is spot-on (“Kat has gone Zo off course!” Sept. 27).
She continues to prove time and again that no deception is too big or lie too small if it boosts her personal and political ambitions.
Kathy pursuing reelection while slinking closer to Mayor Mamdani is positive proof New York residents only “come first” after she’s covered her own needs.
I would ask all voters in New York to read Hochul’s comments on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the United Nations closely .
In a recent radio interview, she accused Netanyahu of lying. She insisted Mamdani hasn’t incited riots against Jewish people in the city, totally skipping Netanyahu’s real criticism: the mayor’s negative obsession with Israel.
Netanyahu mentioned that “Jews no longer feel safe in New York.” This was part of the governor’s accusation that Netanyahu was not telling the truth.
I urge all of my fellow New Yorkers to remember this in November. Let us send Hochul a message: Goodbye and good riddance.
What a non-winning combination we have in our governor and mayor.
We have a boy in men’s clothing pretending to be our mayor, rather than the town crier of hate he really is. Send him to Gaza with the Palestinian woman who planted a tree at Gracie Mansion. Maybe he can do a better job there.
Send Hochul, too; she is only a few steps away from wearing a burka in her groveling to this boy mayor.
Hochul continues to support Mamdani even when he’s wrong. The mayor may have never said he supports Hamas, but his praising and entertaining of those who have says otherwise.
Mamdani spreading lies of genocide and making threats to Netanyahu is inciting people to act.
Time and again, Hochul has shown herself to be a vacuous dullard. Now she has proven herself to be a liar by supporting Mamdani’s lies about Israel and its prime minister.
Her prevarications must be remembered when we vote in November.
The Issue: The Post’s editorial on how DEI is dangerously undermining US medical-school instruction.
According to the Association of American Medical Colleges, in 2025-26, women constituted 57.2% of applicants but only 55.0% of matriculants to US med schools (“Med Schools’ Deadly DEI,” Editorial, Sept. 27).
Men represented 42.2% of applicants but 44.4% of matriculants. This was not a one-year anomaly; it also happened in 2024-25.
While these numbers alone do not prove preference, they raise a question absent from The Post’s discussion: Why are male applicants gaining representation during the admissions process while women lose it?
Scrutiny should be applied consistently. We should be just as interested in a potential preference benefiting men as one benefiting any racial or ethnic group.
The DEI war on excellence exposes the lunacy currently being perpetrated by our best known, but no longer finest, professional programs.
Who wants a surgeon of “the right race” instead of one with outstanding academic and practical training?
Those who are unaware of these sinister and deceitful methods are those who will pay a price for the failings of the anointed.
