Rihanna sat front row at Tuesday morning’s Dior show during Paris Fashion Week, dressed in an all-black ensemble from the fashion house accessorized with some pretty epic jewels.
Diamond cluster earrings climbed up her ears, and she stacked on several giant rings — but the main event was her anklet.
Designed to look almost like a Victorian necklace for her foot, Rihanna’s tennis anklet boasted five cascading diamond drops, each finished with a massive pear-shaped stone.
Rare Carat CEO and founder Ajay Anand told Page Six Style the unique design could weigh in at as much as 40 carats, with some of the larger single pear-shaped diamonds clocking in at 5-7 carats each.
“It’s the kind of piece that feels incredibly glamorous and statement-making, while still being timeless and elegant,” he said.
The price tag’s equally statement-making: “With this level of diamond weight, quality, craftsmanship and overall presence, the estimated retail value would be approximately $1 million,” Anand added.
This is far from the first time the Bad Gal’s worn major jewelry on her feet; who could forget the time she attended the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix with a $400,000 Jacob & Co. watch styled as an anklet?
Rihanna’s also the proud owner of a pear-cut diamond toe ring from XIV worth a whopping $600,000.
Here’s hoping she didn’t have to foot the bill herself.
