Make New York Post a Preferred Source J.R. Smith was arrested on a charge of family violence on Tuesday in Texas, according to Hunt County jail records.
Smith, two-time NBA champion guard with the Cavaliers and Lakers, was arrested on one charge of assault causing bodily injury family violence.
He remains in the Hunt County Detention Center, per TMZ, and jail records show no bond has been set.

Smith, who played 16 seasons in the NBA, was named the Sixth Man of the Year with the Knicks in 2013, and won his first championship with the Cavaliers alongside LeBron James in the 2015-16 season.
