Make California Post a Preferred Source Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins has been sharing his wisdom with rookie Fernando Mendoza.
Cousins also shared a meal with the Raiders’ No. 1 overall NFL Draft pick after the team improved to 3-0 against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
A photo of Cousins, Mendoza and their teammates Dylan Laube and Caleb Rodgers eating a meal at In-N-Out surfaced on social media. The photo looks to have been taken from a fan but was posted on X by Mick Akers.
Cousins has spoken about his new routine of getting In-N-Out after Raiders victories, even admitting that he has a “problem” with how much he’s enjoying the West Coast staple. He went there with his son last week, but seemingly wanted to make several teammates a part of his victory ritual this time around.
It’s a refreshing sight for Raiders fans to see Mendoza and Cousins spending time off of the field together. Cousins has fostered a relationship with the rookie despite the fact that Mendoza was drafted to eventually take over Cousins’ starting job.
Gven how great Cousins has been with the Raiders this season, Mendoza won’t be taking that job from him any time soon.
