Make Page Six a Preferred Source Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber are reportedly struggling to plan their son Presley Gerber’s “intimate memorial” as they continue to mourn his heartbreaking death at the age of 27.
“It’s hard to make those decisions when everyone is struggling emotionally,” an insider told People Monday.
“Their priority is to keep it private, without media or paparazzi there.”
Another source told the outlet that Crawford, 60, and Rande, 64, are “still figuring out” the details of the memorial.
“They want to keep it very intimate, but there’s so many people in Presley’s life who loved him, the amount of people that have reached out to attend is high,” the insider claimed.
The A-list couple is reportedly planning to host the gathering in Malibu, California, because of their son’s “love for surfing and the beach.”
According to TMZ, he was cremated at the Rose Family Funeral Home, and his ashes will stay at his parents’ home in Malibu.
An insider previously told People that Crawford and Rande were heavily involved in Presley’s life before he died at a Santa Monica, California, rehab facility from an apparent overdose on Sept. 20.
“This was never a situation involving two absent Hollywood parents,” the source said. “They were always there for him and did everything they could to help him. The family has always been incredibly close, and Presley was deeply loved.”

The duo are also the parents of 25-year-old model Kaia Gerber.
An insider told Page Six that Kaia and Presley “were insanely close” and that she’s taking her older brother’s loss “very hard.”
Sources also told us that Presley had checked into rehab the same weekend he had died because “he knew he needed help.”
We’re told the model wanted “so, so badly to be free of his addictions.”
Leading up to his death, Presley was open about his struggles with depression and addiction to opioids, previously telling his Instagram followers so there could be “accountability.”
