The pop star told the Strategist she’s been trying to heal her hair since dying it blond last year, and that using K18 Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask has helped.
“I’ve noticed a big difference in my hair from using the bond repair products because it’s getting into the hair as opposed to just moisturizing from the outside,” she said.
“K18 is probably my favorite, and it’s patented — there’s nothing out there like it.”
While she noted that there’s such a thing as too much bond repair, she said it’s “so good” when used correctly. (K18 recommends using it for four to six washes, then as needed.)
The formula works on all hair types and is designed to repair hair at a molecular level and reverse damage from bleach, color and heat.

“She’s really helped me fix my hair,” Cabello added. “I have dry and porous hair, and I do feel like the conditioner has made a big difference.”
The spray promises a whopping 21 different benefits, ranging from heat protection to frizz control. While it’s meant to be used as a leave-in conditioner, Cabello said she uses it before she goes swimming, too.
“I leave it on for 10 minutes, and my hair comes out way silkier and softer,” she told the outlet of this nourishing mask.
This under-$10 spray helps protect strands from damaging UV rays, salt and chlorine.
Cabello’s hair tips aren’t all products and potions. She also recommends this gentle hair towel, which she says makes a difference in “hair retention and having healthy, gorgeous hair.”
