Make New York Post a Preferred Source A Texas man was arrested after police say he intentionally crashed his vehicle through the front entrance of a Kroger grocery store because he needed to use the bathroom, according to police.
The unidentified man crashed his vehicle into the store overnight on Sunday while the business was closed, allegedly upset that the doors were locked.
The incident happened just before 4:30 a.m. on Sunday morning in Rosenberg, Texas, according to police.
The crash reportedly caused extensive damage to the store.
Images released by police showed the vehicle inside the store with shattered glass inside and outside the doors of the building.
The metal door frames were also seen with significant damage.
“On Sunday, September 27th, at approximately 0428, a known male individual intentionally accelerated into Kroger, causing extensive damage to the pharmacy entrance,” Rosenberg Police wrote on Facebook.
“I guess when you gotta go, you gotta go but we strongly advise finding a store open for business…to do your business,” the department added.
The suspect was only described as a 60-year-old man.
Police told FOX 26 that the man was arrested on criminal mischief charges.
