1-MIN READ1-MIN ListenZoe SL ChanPublished: 1:14pm, 28 Sep 2026Updated: 1:19pm, 28 Sep 2026Zhuhai Amicro Technology, a Xiaomi-backed chipmaker, is preparing to begin premarketing for a Hong Kong initial public offering (IPO) of more than US$100 million as early as this week, according to people familiar with the matter.The company passed its listing hearing with bourse operator Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) last week, clearing the final regulatory hurdle for a share sale in the city, the people said, requesting anonymity because the information is private.According to HKEX’s records, Amicro had yet to publish a public listing document. As a result, its financial details have not been disclosed.
It planned to start bookbuilding as soon as next week, and could make its trading debut in mid-October, the sources said.
