Pluto TV Is Giving Fans A Chance To Marathon ‘The X-Files’ In An Undisclosed Joshua Tree Bunker

It’s been far too long since Fox Mulder and Dana Scully graced our screens on The X-Files. As of January, the full 11-season sci-fi series is available to stream for free on Pluto TV, so believers everywhere can seek the truth with their favorite FBI duo on demand. To celebrate, Pluto TV is launching “The Fan Is Out There” experience for one lucky X-phile and their chosen partner.

“The Fan Is Out There” experience includes a nine-day stay at an undisclosed location in Joshua Tree for the ultimate binge-watching marathon. Fully equipped with all 218 episodes of the series, themed provisions, and interactive activities, the off-grid facility serves as the perfect place to disappear into the cult classic show.

Surrounded by nothing but the rocky Joshua Tree desert—where unexplained phenomena have been reported for decades—the lucky winner and their guest will have the chance to escape modern society for maximum immersion with minimal distraction. As they snack on sunflower seeds and drink black coffee, the two guests will keep a living case board to track patterns, connections, and conspiracies across all 218 episodes, all of which can be documented through the daily on-camera debriefing confessionals.

Think that you’re the X-Files Superfan that Pluto TV is searching for? True believers can enter to win “The Fan Is Out There” experience here, starting March 10 at 11:00 a.m. ET until March 20 at 11:59 pm ET. See the official contest website for full rules and terms & conditions.

You can also join The X-Files marathon for “The Fan Is Out There” on Monday, April 20, on Pluto TV, available anywhere fans stream, with no subscription required.
