Podcast host Megyn Kelly on Monday bashed Sen. Lindsey Graham after he threatened four nations over 24 hours amid the war in Iran – questioning why the South Carolina pol was acting as if he was president.
During an appearance Monday on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Graham threatened consequences against Lebanon, Cuba, Saudi Arabia and Spain – stoking backlash from social media users who labeled him a “warmonger.”
“When did Lindsay [sic] Graham become our president?” Kelly tweeted late Monday night. “In the past 24 hours he’s threatened Lebanon, Cuba, the Saudis, the wider Arab region and now – checks notes – Spain.”
In another post later Monday, Kelly wrote: “Let’s get real. The problem with Lindsay [sic] Graham isn’t (just) that he’s a homicidal maniac, it’s that Trump likes and is listening to him, and Trump’s favorite channel is parading him around like a Hefner bunny in stockings on every show.”
Kelly also tore into Graham during an episode of her podcast “The Megyn Kelly Show” released Monday.
“This guy is a homicidal maniac with a bloodlust that is insatiable,” she said. “He got us into the Iranian war, Lindsey Graham. Now he wants us to get involved in a Lebanese war, which Israel is already starting or involved in, and he wants us to go into Cuba from the sound of it, possibly.”
Kelly questioned whether that could be “a boots on the ground situation,” after Graham on Sunday hinted that “the liberation of Cuba” is “next” after the conflict in Iran.
“I don’t know, but this guy should be nowhere near President Trump. He should not be allowed within 20 feet of the president’s orbit, and the president should make the decision to keep this guy the hell away from him, or at least in his own mind shut down his influence,” Kelly fumed.
“This is not a force for good in the United States of America.”
As the joint US-Israeli war on Iran entered its second week, with retaliating attacks broadening to include the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Kuwait, Graham appeared eager to pick fights with even more countries.
He blasted Spain for denying the US permission to use its jointly operated military bases in the nation to attack Iran.
“To our friends in Spain, man, you have lost your way,” Graham said on “Hannity.” “I don’t want to do business with you anymore. I want our airbases out of Spain.”
He threatened Saudi Arabia with “consequences” if they decide not to join the war against Iran, and made the nation a direct offer – seemingly speaking as if he was president.
“Here is what I wanna say to Saudi Arabia tonight: I am willing to make a mutual defense agreement with your country to give you protection in perpetuity,” Graham said.

“Under the agreement I have been pushing – and I hope we can continue to talk about – if you are attacked by Iran, we would go to war for you.”
During his Fox News appearance on Monday, Graham also pledged his enduring support for Israel.
“I will be with Israel until our dying day,” he said.
Many social media users blasted the hawkish senator for appearing eager to get the US into yet another war, and for speaking more on foreign affairs than addressing his own constituents.
“He’s been on TV more for Israel than he’s ever been for South Carolina,” one user wrote in a post on X.
