Today, C.J. Stroud’s Houston Texans visit Daniel Jones’ Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium for a huge Week 3 game that could turn one club’s season around and potentially doom the other’s.
Ahead of the contest, Shane Steichen’s squad — who have now lost nine straight dating back to last year — was tasked with taking on two of the AFC’s toughest teams in the Ravens and Chiefs.
“We are battling like crazy,” Steichen said after the heartbreaking 33-30 overtime loss against Kansas City. “There is a lot of football left…we have to find a way to win at the end.”
Their first two battles on the gridiron were equally rough; DeMeco Ryans’ roster had to go head-to-head with the fired-up “Super Bowl or bust” Bengals and perennially excellent Bills.
