While F1 typically races on Sundays, this year’s Grand Prix at the Baku City Circuit was moved up one day to accommodate Azerbaijan’s national Remembrance Day, which is Sept. 27.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is a 190.170-mile race that consists of 51 laps. The 3.730-mile street circuit has 20 turns.
Mercedes’ George Russell will start in pole position after finishing his qualifying run 0.837 seconds faster than Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.
