Make New York Post a Preferred Source Harrowing NYPD body camera footage released Friday evening revealed the final moments before cops fatally shot a crazed knife-wielding woman in Times Square last month.
The footage captures police pleading with Pamela Cisneros — a mentally disturbed mom of three — to drop two knives at 42nd Street and 7th Avenue shortly after her unhinged stabbing rampage where she randomly attacked two people on Aug. 31.
Cisneros, of Queens, had pulled two knives out of a red Target bag and first stabbed Tak Kam, 68, in the abdomen as he exited the subway on West 41st Street and was waiting to cross the street, police said.
She then continued up to 42nd Street and plunged a knife into Bank of America exec Erin Piacenti, 32, killing her just after she returned from maternity leave.
Officers Ryan Brito and Francis Gagliano first encountered Cisneros, 49, and begged her to put the knife down and breathe, the footage showed.
“Put the knife down,” Brito told Cisneros as she held two kitchen knives in front of her chest.
“Come and get me,” Cisneros said, to which Gagliano replied, “I don’t want to get you.”
“I’m tired of this world already,” Cisneros said. “Tired of this shit.”
“I get it, I understand … I understand, but why? What’s going on?” Brito said. The two cops kept telling Cisneros to calm down and breathe, with Brito trying to appeal to Cisneros’ emotions.
“I get it. The world is hard. Especially New York City. I know New York City is hard. Trust me, we all suffer,” Brito told her.
“You believe in God?” he asked, to which Cisneros replied: “No. Not anymore.”
“You’re going to have to kill me. Yes, you are,” she told the cops. “Either that, or I’m going to kill all of you.”
“Listen, I know you’re going through a lot, but it’s not worth it,” Brito pleaded with her. “It’s not worth it. I promise you.”
More officers rushed to the scene and repeatedly asked Cisneros to drop the knives.
“I’m not dropping anything,” Cisneros vowed.
Cisneros began waving the two knives in a circle to her side — sparking cops to deploy a host of tasers at her.
Seemingly unfazed by the tasers, she began to charge toward the cops while screaming.
Officers Joseph O’Connor and Steven Darcy then fired off three rounds at Cisneros, causing her to collapse forward onto the sidewalk.
The knife-wielding maniac was rushed to a local hospital, where was pronounced dead.
Cisneros had a documented mental health history with police, including a suicide attempt.
