Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the United Nations was phenomenal (“UN-bowed Bibi meets the moment,” Michael Goodwin, Sept. 25).
He made it clear that Israel did not commit genocide and it has the most humane army in the world.
It’s the antisemites of the world — including our murderer-supporting mayor and his wife — who perpetuate such falsehoods, much like the blood libels against the Jews throughout history.
It is true what the prime minister says about our mayor who cozies up to antisemitic politicians on his own administration and his wife who thinks the Oct. 7 attack was Israel’s fault, believing they deserved it.
Gov. Hochul defending Mayor Mamdani makes her look foolish and antisemitic in nature.
Both the mayor and governor’s administrations need to be replaced with more capable personnel.
Netanyahu delivered a powerful speech preaching to deaf ears.
He vehemently defended Israel’s actions to attendees who remained after many of the “disunited” nations’ delegates exited left.
Then came his furious attack on Mamdani, who was instrumental in feeding the antisemitic frenzy and protesters who know nothing about human rights and remained silent when Iranian citizens were slaughtered.
Shame on those who fail to see the light and choose to be on the wrong side of history.
It’s about time someone told Mamdani off, as Netanyahu did in front of the United Nations.
Fearless and dauntless are just a couple words to describe Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The message was clear to Israel’s critics: It is Hamas that seeks genocide, as on Oct. 7, not the other way around.
The entire world now knows the tiny, yet courageous and powerful, state of Israel has no choice but to keep on winning in order to fight for its existence.
The Issue: Sunny Hostin claims she was the holdout juror in the “Butcher of Tompkins Square Park” trial.
Sunny Hostin has proven herself time and time again to be off her rocker (“Sunny let killer off,” Sept. 24).
In her eyes there are no consequences for any wrongdoing, no matter how gruesome.
I wonder if a chair was really thrown at her in the jury room.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who was unsettled when I saw the clip of Hostin on “The View” bragging about sparing a cannibalistic murderer from prison in the 1991 Daniel Rakowitz trial.
Seeing her recall this horrifying case as if discussing an old flame who gave her love letters reminds me that there are two things in the world Sunny Hostin loves most: One, siding with criminals and two, higher television ratings.
Hostin is either a complete idiot or naive as a newborn for revealing such an incident on network television.
Why not just keep your mouth shut and let the moment pass?
On the other hand, I myself would acquit Hostin for making such a statement on the same grounds: not guilty by reason of insanity.
