Edge rusher Nick Bosa pulled his calf during the 49ers’ practice on Thursday and is expected to miss “a few weeks”, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Getty Images Bosa, 28, has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, and San Francisco is determining whether to place him on injured reserve. If they do so, he’ll have to miss at least four games before being able to return.
The timing is this injury is unfortunate. Bosa tore his ACL during the 49ers’ Week 3 game last season, which required surgery and sidelined him for the rest of the season.
