We say: For Jews, Yom Kippur is a day of atonement, a day to “confess” personal sins and wrongdoings, not stage political theater.
Yet Brad Lander, likely a congressman come January, abused Jews’ holiest day to smear Israel as genocidal, pretending he thinks he and other Jews are to blame.
What a disgusting, blasphemous phony. Lander didn’t atone for his sins; he compounded them.

But Guterres’ time as sec-gen has seen 600,000 killed in Ethiopia, 377,000 in Yemen, hundreds of thousands in the Ukraine war and 150,000-plus in Sudan (with 10 million-plus displaced). Oh, and more than a million Uyghurs sent to internment camps and prisons in China. Wonder why Guterres has only seen deaths in Gaza …
