And the price isn’t the only big draw — reviewers say it actually makes a big difference in their hair, thanks in part to its key ingredient: minoxidil, which has been scientifically proven to treat hair loss.
According to a 2019 review, minoxidil promotes hair growth by widening blood vessels and extending the anagen (or growth phase) of the hair follicle cycle. The review concludes that minoxidil “provides remarkable benefits to patients with hair disorders.”

While the brand recommends waiting eight to 12 weeks for full results, many users report visible growth much sooner. It’s dermatologist-recommended and formulated in the U.S., but as with any treatment, it’s best to consult a physician before starting.
