Add Page Six on Google Sienna Miller said she felt “slightly concerned” after her 14-year-old daughter, Marlowe, made an unexpected red carpet appearance at the “War” premiere in London last Wednesday.
“Marlowe didn’t actually walk the red carpet with me. She came with her friend. My mom was also there,” the actress clarified on SiriusXM’s “The Julia Cunningham Show” this week.
“It was five seconds at the end where she, like, came to give me a hug and totally mogged me,” she added.
Miller, 44, explained she has some “regret” about the situation because both she and Marlowe “didn’t expect” the public’s reaction to the stunning teenager.
“I think I’m going to be sending her away to a nunnery for the next four years until she can emerge as an actual adult,” Miller quipped, before reiterating, “It was not what was planned. It was not intentional.”
The “Factory Girl” star noted that while her daughter is indeed “extraordinarily beautiful,” her looks are “the least interesting thing” about her.
“She’s so clever and she’s so funny and she’s still my little girl,” Miller said about Marlowe, who she shares with ex Tom Sturridge. “I don’t know that we’re going to be doing more red carpets. She, kind of, popped on at the end. It was five seconds.”
Miller, who has two other children, a 2-year-old daughter and a son born earlier this year, with boyfriend Oli Green, 29, admitted “it’s hard” to be a famous parent.
“Your kids want to be involved in your life and it’s an exciting world to kind of dip a toe into, but then it’s so easy to get your life prescribed to you by these moments and suddenly your career is decided,” she explained.
“Marlowe being at my event, you know that, of course, she wants to be there, but you don’t want to write your kids’ histories or futures for them,” Miller also said.

The mother-daughter duo posed for multiple pictures together at London’s Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, celebrating the premiere of Miller’s new HBO thriller series co-starring Dominic West.
Miller wore a black feathered strapless gown by Dilara Findikoglu, while Marlowe rocked a casual yellow vintage Pittsburgh Pirates 1979 T-shirt and black midi skirt, while carrying a black Chloé Paddington bag.
The “Alfie” actress previously called her teen daughter “a little fashion monster” in 2024.
“She’s like a young Anna Wintour in her total disdain for some of the things I wear,” Miller shared. “In New York she thought I was mortifying. She wishes I would brush my hair.
However, Miller said that ever since the family moved to London in 2023, Marlowe’s “starting to appreciate the undoneness.”
