“Gossip Girl” stars Leighton Meester and Kelly Rutherford reunited at Milan Fashion Week Thursday, sitting side by side in the front row at Max Mara’s spring 2027 show.
The pair — who played Blair Waldorf and Lily van der Woodsen in the hit series — did their on-screen alter egos proud with their elegantly tailored outfits.
Meester, 40, chose a white button-down shirt and green sequined midi skirt, while Rutherford, 57, wore a black cashmere car coat, buttoned up to her neck. In a very Upper East Side move, both accessorized with dark sunglasses and upswept hair.
“I’ve always been very much a minimalist in many ways, but I like beautiful things,” Rutherford told Page Six Style in April, adding, “Because of acting, I’ve played dress-up a lot.”
Though she and Meester was pictured together at last spring’s Elie Saab show, it’s rare that their schedules come together — publicly, at least.
Fashion lover Rutherford has become quite the Instagram influencer in recent years, sharing frequent elevator selfies showcasing her luxe looks (and many Birkin bags).
She even incorporated some of her own designer items into Lily van der Woodsen’s wardrobe while shooting “Gossip Girl.”
“At the time when we started, there was no RealReal or Vestiaire,” she told us earlier this year. “With certain things, you just couldn’t find them everywhere like you can today. So I just pulled in a few of my things here and there.”
