Add Page Six on Google Ryan Murphy confirmed the “Glee” reboot has been written.
“I just finished the script an hour ago,” the TV producer told Entertainment Tonight at the “American Horror Story” Season 13 premiere in New York City on Wednesday.
“Brad [Falchuk], Ian [Brennan] and I, who wrote all the first two seasons, have written something,” he shared.
Murphy, 60, revealed he’s “been in touch with around 10 of the original cast members,” though he didn’t say who.
“It’s very sweet, and they all had a lot of questions,” he continued, “but they all were very enthusiastic about the idea.”
Murphy clarified that “nobody’s read” the script for the reboot, but he’s open to getting advice from the actors.
“I vowed to myself that I wanted to write a couple of them to see what people think, particularly the cast, cause we were very close when we were making it,” he explained.

Sources told Deadline that the reboot, from 20th Television, hasn’t been set up at a platform yet.
“Glee,” which followed an Ohio high school choir group, aired for six seasons on Fox from 2009 to 2015.
The cast included Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Naya Rivera, Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Darren Criss, Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz and Harry Shum Jr.
Monteith, Rivera and Salling have all passed away since the show premiered.
Murphy, who co-created “Glee” with Falchuk and Brennan, mentioned wanting to reboot the series in July.
“That show is interesting because it’s come back around. So many young people now watch it,” he told People. “And I’m like, ‘Maybe we should revisit that show.’’
Murphy continued, “My nostalgia and love for that show is enough that I’m like, ‘Well, maybe people would like to see a new incarnation of that in some capacity.”
Lynch, who played Sue Sylvester, weighed in on the possibility of a reboot on Thursday’s episode of Kylie Kelce’s podcast, “Not Gonna Lie.”
“I haven’t heard anything about that,” she said. “But I would love to do it. I’d be the first one in line to do it.”
Michele, who portrayed Rachel Berry, confirmed last week that she’d return for a reboot.
“I love ‘Glee.’ I will always love ‘Glee.’ I love Ryan Murphy,” the Emmy nominee, 40, told E! News.
Michele said the show “just holds such a special place in my heart for me,” adding, “I will follow Ryan wherever he goes.”
