Add Page Six on Google Presley Gerber was found in a bedroom inside the Santa Monica, California, rehab facility where he died at the age of 27 on Sept. 20, according to a report.
Per TMZ, a source close to the investigation revealed that Gerber’s body was discovered near the bed — but not on it — in the room Sunday night.
The source did not give an exact location, otherwise.
Sources also noted to the outlet that fentanyl has not yet come up in the death investigation.
According to 911 audio obtained by Page Six, Gerber was treated for a suspected “overdose” after going into cardiac arrest, but an official cause of death has not yet been cited.
As Page Six previously reported, the runway model checked into the rehab facility for treatment the same weekend he was pronounced dead, and was under the influence of a substance when he arrived there.
TMZ reported that Gerber was reportedly prescribed ketamine by a doctor — despite having a “regular problem” with the drug.

Additionally, the outlet said he reportedly had a 24/7 sober coach on duty in months leading up to his tragic death, who was “very present” in his life the last few months. It was not clear if this coach was with Presley at Resolutions Living’s $7.7 million luxurious rehabilitation home when he died.
The only son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, he had been candid about his substance abuse and mental health struggles before he died, as well as had his share of public troubles regarding it, including a 2018 DUI which put him on probation for three years.
Last November, Gerber noted that he “had to step back and take care of my own mental health for a bit” while explaining a brief hiatus from social media. He said his intention was to come back “stronger, clearer, more intentional than ever,” and to try and help others suffering with mental health issues.
Gerber even strove to promote a “Mental Health Mondays” movement on his social media platform, in order “to spark real conversations about the stuff most people hide.”
However, source exclusively told Page Six Presley “seemed off” in the weeks leading up to his death, and that he “didn’t seem like himself.“
In addition to his parents, Gerber is survived by his younger sister, Kaia Gerber, who is said to be struggling with the loss of her brother, whom she was extraordinarily close to.
“Kaia and Presley were insanely close,” a source exclusively told us, adding, “I don’t know how she’s going to go on without him.”
