Add The New York Post on Google Eight suspected gang members are in Spanish police custody after patrol cops stumbled upon a sinister, plastic-wrapped “torture chamber” in the middle of a popular coastal town – where one bloodied victim was screaming, “They’re going to kill me!”
The wild chain of events kicked off in the picturesque Costa Del Sol after a frantic woman called emergency dispatchers with a cryptic message just after 1 a.m. on Sept. 5.
“My partner has gone to a house to handle some shady business and told me that if he didn’t contact me within ten minutes, I should call the police,” the unidentified girlfriend said, according to court documents obtained by the Spanish news outlet El Español and translated by The Post.
Two patrol cops who responded to the villa were almost immediately confronted by a disturbing scene.
“A naked man came running out the kitchen door, blood on his face and in a state of panic, shouting, ‘They’ve kidnapped me, and they’re going to kill me!’” court docs stated, per the outlet.
Moments later, two men clad from head to toe in all black – at least one of whom was armed with a gun – came flying out from behind the villa’s gate and over the garden wall, where they were soon followed by another handful of suspects fleeing from the house in all different directions.
The patrol officers called for backup, and cops from up and down Spain’s sunny coast began hunting down the fleeing perps, according to the outlet.
Meanwhile, cops back at the scene went to search the villa, where yet another spine-chilling scene awaited them.
The officers heard the sound of a pained voice crying for help, which they followed into a room that has since been described as a purpose-built “torture chamber” – with plastic wrap covering the walls and floor surrounding a single chair, along with duct tape, zip ties, a pair of pliers, a hammer and a pistol equipped with a silencer.
The second victim was naked, bound to the chair, and bleeding from his mouth when officers rescued him.
“They were going to kill me,” the man, a Spanish native named Miguel Ángel, told cops.
“I’ve been kidnapped and wounded…We were being held captive.”
The first victim, a Moroccan national only identified in court docs as Hamza, had also been kidnapped and tortured inside the kill room ‚ though both men were not exactly innocent bystanders, El Español reported, citing anonymous “investigative” sources.
“All signs point to these men being tortured as a settling of scores, for having failed to carry out a job assigned to them by the gang,” a source reportedly told the outlet.

The gang in question is a Serbian criminal organization, and the seven suspects who fled from the house are all believed to be members.
“It is a gang dedicated to trafficking cocaine and hash, whose activities also encompass other crimes such as extortion,” according to the source.
Apart from torture, the seven Serbian nationals are being held behind bars on suspicion of using the villa as an “operational base” for a drug-trafficking network that spans roughly 300 miles from Andalusia to Spain’s Levante region.
After being placed inside a lockup in Málaga earlier this month, the Serbs reportedly threatened prison guards to allow them to share cells – or else, “there will be trouble,” the outlet reported.
One of the torture victims was also taken into custody on suspicion of gang-related crime, and both rescued men have their own history of run-ins with police.
