During lunch at Lisa Barlow’s “Après Ski with Lisa B” excursion, Whitney Rose tries to apologize to Meredith Marks for speaking poorly about her, saying on-stage at an event that she “hates” her. In this exclusive clip from tonight’s all-new episode, it’s clear that Marks is not ready to forgive her.
“I think she feels really bad,” says Angie Katsanevas to Marks about Rose. “I do too,” Barlow chimes in. “I can feel that,” reiterates Katsanevas. Unmoved by their comments, Marks just rolls her eyes.
Heather Gay speaks up from across the table. “I mean, she just sincerely apologized. That’s all this is.” In her confessional, Gay elaborates: “Today, everyone is laying down their swords, is coming to the table with open hearts, everyone but Meredith. I don’t know if the facelift is preventing her from showing any emotion whatsoever, but she’s just stonewalling.”
As Rose quietly weeps at the table, Bronwyn Newport assures her that she did her best. “Look at me. It was a good apology. She tries , or she doesn’t. You’re trying.”
Back in her confessional, Gay continues to speculate about Marks’ rejection of Rose’s apology. “Maybe she’s just uncomfortable because her wig is too tight.”
At the table, Marks finally speaks. “No, it’s good. I’m glad she admitted how she feels about me. I’m at peace with it.” Rose quickly interrupts her. “I don’t feel that way, Meredith. I don’t hate you.” Marks clearly doesn’t believe Rose, but accepts it somewhat. “I accept your apology,” says Marks coldly.
“We’ve all said things about each other,” points out Katsanevas. “Everyone can treat me horribly, say ‘I’m sorry,’ and I’m supposed to just move on,” questions Marks. “That’s what it boils down to.”
“Yeah, we’re all swallowing things at this table that were said falsely about us,” snaps Gay. “So, if you want to die on that hill, let’s die on the hill of the false things you said about me.”
“What did I do to you?” asks Marks. “You said I was a pill popper and a homophobe,” says Gay. A moment from last season’s RHOSLC reunion suddenly flashes across the screen, showing Marks on the offensive. “You guys gave me a sleeping pill of some sort,” says Marks to Gay and Rose. “You took one too. Both of you did.” Rose points out that the sleeping pill was “prescribed” for her. “Those are the pills you’ve seen me pop?” asks Gay.
Back in the present, Gay continues to press Marks. “You’ve never even apologized for it. So, it’s ridiculous that you would rail on her and act like she’s this horrible liar when you did the same thing.”
