In fact, she’s still living in a world of glitter, fringe, sparkle and opulence.
Less than 24 hours after announcing a new single called “Patient Zero,” Swift took to social media to announce that the song is actually part of a deluxe version of “The Life of a Showgirl” called “The Encore,” featuring a total of four songs.
For the announcement, Swift picked an unseen shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott from the eye-popping original album visuals, dancing in front of a fuchsia curtain wearing a micro-mini golden fringe dress by Nicolas Jebran, paired with metallic mesh Rene Caovilla heels ($2,050).
The metallic dress catches the light at all angles, as the fringe is made up of individual pieces of gold and silver chainmail.
The pic stands in contrast to the three new photos the Grammy winner released to announce “Patient Zero,” where she can be seen in stark black and silver looks.
However, the rest of the “Life of a Showgirl” shoot was an explosion of glitz, including feathers, crystals and vintage Bob Mackie straight from Vegas.
“About a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing. Something that completely blew my mind… You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history,” Swift wrote in her Wednesday announcement.
Continuing, “We wrote more songs. I hope you love them, because they were born out of pure gratitude for your exuberance for and celebration of the album we made.”
New songs “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding,” Babylon” and “Patient Zero” are out Friday.
