Immigration Department shares estimate as Hong Kong’s No 2 official says authorities to ‘make good preparations’ for ‘golden week’ break

On top of the expected influx of about 1.29 million mainland travellers over the break, the Immigration Department said it expected the average daily number of visitor arrivals to surpass last year’s figure by more than 5 per cent.
