Taylor Swift went viral during the Chiefs’ 33-30 overtime win over the Colts on Sunday night when Kelce caught a 13-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter.
The NBC cameras flashed to Swift, who pointed to her wedding ring and appeared to yell: “That’s my husband.”
Kelce and his brother Jason went through the social media reaction to the moment on their “New Heights” podcast that aired Wednesday morning.
The siblings listed their favorite memes that made their way around X, and Travis shared some thoughts on his role.
“The internet is having a good ole time with this s—t.”
“Proud wife, gotta make my girl proud.”
A couple of the ones that drew the biggest reactions from Travis and Jason were:
“Me when my husband actually finds all the right stuff at the grocery story.”
“How I want my wife to react when I fix the WiFi by plugging it out and back in.”
Kelce and the Chiefs are off to a 2-0 start, and the future Hall of Fame tight end looks revitalized after a down 2025 season.
He’s tallied 12 catches for 172 yards with that one touchdown.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid credited Swift, who has been at both home primetime games to start the season, for her role in getting Kelce in shape after the couple married in July in an ultra-private ceremony at Madison Square Garden.
“Everybody questioned with the wedding and all of that — ‘would he be out of shape and honeymooning the whole time [in the offseason]?’ and all of that,” Reid said on Monday, per KSHB 41 News.
“But he really works his rear end off and I think Taylor, you’re putting on four-hour shows, you’ve got to work hard too. So, I’m sure she kicks him in the butt a little there too.”The Chiefs will look to continue their undefeated start when they take on the 0-2 Dolphins in Miami on Sunday.
It is unclear if the 14-time Grammy winner will be in attendance as Swift has sometimes shied away from road contests over security concerns and her busy schedule.
