Add The California Post on Google Three people were shot inside a South Los Angeles assisted living facility Monday morning.
LAPD officers swopped on the 7000 block of Denver Avenue at about 10:50 a.m. following reports of gunfire inside the facility.
Officers said they requested ambulances for three victims. Their conditions were not immediately known.
Dorothy Mobley, a caregiver who was inside the facility when the violence erupted, told KTLA she had only just entered the building when she encountered a custodian standing near the front desk.
According to Mobley, the worker said, “I’m tired of this,” before pulling out a gun and opening fire.
