Michael Irvin took shots at Los Angeles’ star quarterback after yet another stunning Chargers loss on Sunday.
In an Instagram video, the NFL legend poked fun at Herbert and his high-profile relationship with Madison Beer just after the Bolts were upset by the Raiders, 26-14, at SoFi Stadium.
“You made the wrong drive,” Irvin said. “Driving your girl to the airport, but you can’t drive this team to that endzone?!

Herbert, who spent a significant portion of his offseason traveling overseas with Beer, has been one of the biggest reasons for the Chargers’ 0-2 start.
In home losses to the Cardinals and Raiders, the 28-year-old has thrown for just 401 yards and two touchdowns. He’s hurled three interceptions, fumbled three times and has taken six sacks.
Irvin was hardly the only ex-NFLer who trolled the Chargers following yet another tough defeat. Will Compton wrote on his X page that he “could not have been more wrong about” new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel improving the team this year.
“The Chargers have been brutal,” he said.
Former NFL offensive lineman Richie Incognito also threw a barb after the loss as well.
