Add The New York Post on Google Patrick Clancy’s new wife is already pregnant with their first child together, their interviewer confirmed Monday.
Clancy and fertility doctor Rachel Danis had told CBS’ “60 Minutes” for their first interview together that they planned to start a family together more than three years after his three young children were strangled by his first wife, Lindsay Clancy.
Their interviewer, CBS correspondent Ross Douthat, confirmed on “CBS Mornings” Monday that Danis is already pregnant.
“Yes, they’re having a child,” Douthat told anchor Nate Burleson — laughing at how he had been “too coy” in asking a vague question about starting a family.
The couple told him that they would be starting a family, and excited to tell their future children about little Cora, Dawson and Callan before they were tragically slain by his ex.
“I think every parent can agree, you have different relationships with your kids, but they’re all your kids. And I can’t wait to tell them about their brothers and sister,” Patrick said during the interview.
