Add The California Post on Google Los Angeles Rams superstar wide receiver Puka Nacua is listed as questionable for his team’s Monday night game against the New York Giants. This is owed to a knee issue that popped up during practice this week.
However, at least one person close to Puka weighed in with what initially looked to be insider information.
On Friday, Ivie Gonsalves, who is the girlfriend of Puka’s older brother, Samson, posted a TikTok video showing Samson (who is a former NFL player) loading groceries in the back of his car.
A fan commented, “Ask him if Puka is playing on Monday”.
Gonsalves initially responded, writing, “yeah, that man’s playing”.
Any fans who are taking these comments as proof Nacua will be active need to put their optimism on hold.
Gonsalves deleted her response to these comments. Then on Sunday, she changed the caption of the video so that it read, “DISCLAIMER: i don’t know s*** about puka playing. i have zero information on that. do not base your fantasy teams or shit off my page. also don’t ask.”
Someone surely told her that fans were going to take her comments to heart. And it would have made sense for them to before she walked her “promise” back, given how close she is to Nacua.
Rams fans will have to wait until Monday to see whether Nacua is actually playing against the Giants.
