Add The New York Post on Google Big D had no D on Sunday night.
And that narrative fits where they’ve been for the last few seasons.
After allowing an obscene 7.1 yards per play last season, the worst in the league, the Cowboys laid an egg against the Giants as the team was dominated for touchdowns on all second-half drives except the one that ran out the clock in the Giants’ 28-20 win.
That poor performance makes me seriously doubt they can play at a high level going forward.
I was seriously impressed with Jayden Daniels in his first game of year three, as the ex-LSU and Arizona State star looked composed throwing for two touchdowns against a solid Eagles defense.
They didn’t win the game, but I look at Philadelphia much differently than I do Dallas. The Cowboys can’t stop a nosebleed.
I have no issues with their offense despite averaging just 4.7 yards per play against the Giants.

IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect Washington’s defense isn’t great – probably not even good, allowing six yards per play to an Eagles team that is not as high-flying as the Cowboys’.
Still, I love Daniels and what he adds to the run game, while my disdain for the Cowboys’ defense scares me off of backing them anytime soon.
I’ll take a small shot at the Commanders’ moneyline, while loving the over as a top play of the week for me.
Take the over 50.5, as my model has the projected score of 25.49 to 31.07, well above the current total.
An even more aggressive shot at an alternate over, 60.5, is +300 on BetMGM, which is a nice edge to target.
Look for my player prop piece to read more about why I love Antonio Williams in this spot as well.
THE PLAY: Commanders moneyline (35 percent, Novig) | Over 50.5 total points (51 percent, Novig) | alternate over 60.5 (+300, BetMGM)
