Fighter jet dramatically intercepts aircraft flying over Camp David’s restricted airspace — causing concern with Trump in town

President Trump flew to the presidential retreat in Maryland’s Catoctin mountains Friday night, and is set to remain there through the weekend.

“Pilots! @NORADCommand fighter aircraft intercepted an aircraft violating restricted airspace over Thurmont, MD, resulting in flares being deployed,” it said.

“Make sure to check NOTAMs before takeoff to ensure you have current information about TFRs in your area,” the post continued, referencing updates called Notices to Airmen.
