US News Kai Trump takes over Erewhon for $21 Hailey Bieber smoothie with Secret Service By James Gant Published March 9, 2026, 3:08 p.m. ET She’s living her best life.
Kai Trump has released a video of her shopping at luxury grocery store Erewhon in Los Angeles — and she was staggered by the prices.
The president’s granddaughter shared footage from her trip to the city’s ultra-luxe eatery and showed off some of the items she snagged.
The 18-year-old revealed to her 1.45 million followers she bagged the viral Hailey Bieber smoothie for $21 and a $10 lemonade.
She says in the clip: “If you guys don’t know Erewhon is the most expensive grocery store pretty much out there.
“Everything’s crazy expensive so we’re going to get my favorite stuff, even some supplements wherever it may be then we’re going to go home and try it out.”
Later in the video she adds: “I’m like, I’m about to go bankrupt with stuff. I’m going to need to file for bankruptcy.”
The video cut to her looking through the store’s notoriously pricey merchandise, before backing away when she saw the cost of a sweater.
While sipping the Bieber smoothie, she says “oh my gosh” and nods in approval. The footage then cut to her standing outside what appears to be the West Hollywood store.
There the camera catches her huge security detail shutting down the busy road as they come to pick her up.
Her cameraman says: “They really laid out the red carpet for you.” She replies: “I keep looking for my phone and you have it.”
