Don’t forget the Same Old Jets, whatever they’re calling what happens to the Browns nowadays, and there’s the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers — who have made a verb out of themselves, like: There go the Chargers finding a new, creative way to lose. They are chargering again.

Then there is what happens to Joe Burrow and the Bengals to begin every season. Let’s call it the Cincy September Swoon.

It sounds silly, we know, like we just made it up. Because we sort of did. It is a real thing, it just didn’t have a name until now (that we know of).
