Paramount+’s hit series “MobLand” returns today, Sept. 18, for a second season where chaos reigns.

In Season 2, “the Harrigans (Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren) struggle to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire – and Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy, their street-smart and formidable ‘fixer,’ must walk a dangerous tightrope when tensions within the family intensify,” per the official synopsis of the season. “As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy.”

“MobLand” comes from executive producer Guy Ritchie, who has also found television success with Netflix’s “The Gentlemen.”

Brosnan and Mirren reprise their roles as the patriarch and matriarch, respectively, of the Harrigan crime family, and despite reports that he had been fired from the series due to on-set behaviors, Hardy returns as the Harrigan family fixer.

The series’ Season 3 renewal further confirmed that Hardy will remain a part of the series alongside Brosnan and Mirren.

“MobLand” Season 2 premieres Friday, Sept. 18. New episodes will drop on Paramount+ at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT.

“MobLand” is a Paramount+ original series, so you’ll need a subscription to stream new episodes.

Paramount+ offers two plans, both of which include “Lioness.” The ad-supported plan costs $8.99/month, while the ad-free plan costs $13.99/month.

If you subscribe through Amazon Prime Video add-on subscriptions (which is what we recommend), you can take advantage of a seven-day free trial of the ad-free plan.

Season 2 of “MobLand” will have ten episodes, releasing weekly on Fridays at 3 a.m. ET.

In addition to Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren, here’s who you can expect to see in Season 2 of “MobLand.”

Yes! Ahead of the Season 2 premiere, Paramount+ renewed “MobLand” for Season 3.
