On Saturday, Sept. 12, Céline Dion launched her emotional 26-concert residency at Paris’ 45,000-seat Plentitude Arena.
The gig, her first full show since March 2020 and subsequent stiff-person syndrome diagnosis was a triumphant four-act, 26-song effort that Set List FM reported included “Pour que tu m’aimes encore,” “The Power of Love,” “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” “Because You Loved Me” and, of course, “My Heart Will Go On.”
“Dion wiped away tears and belted out the notes, giving an astounding performance despite her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome,” The Guardian gushed in an emphatic four-star review.
“By the time the strum of ‘Destin’…kicked in, though, [her tears were] replaced with sheer elation.”
Following that gig — and another on Sept. 16 — the 58-year-old powerhouse vocalist has 24 more concerts at Plentitude Arena from September 2026 through May 2027.
If you’d like to be there, tickets are available for all two dozen remaining gigs in The City of Light for the five-time Grammy winner.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for any one Céline show was $162 USD including fees on Vivid Seats.
Other Paris performances have seats starting anywhere from $191 USD to $482 USD including fees.
Although that’s a hefty price tag, it seems to have been well worth the investment for fans that attended night one of the lengthy residency.
In an emotional Reel posted to Instagram, one Céline stan said “we cried the whole time. Seriously, it was incredible. We cried after three minutes” while another raved “it was amazing. Wonderful, wonderful, amazing experience. I can’t describe it.”
