Add The New York Post on Google Micah Parsons is among the NFL stars praising Jaxson Dart for his Week 1 performance in the Giants’ 28-20 win over the Cowboys.
Dart completed 23 of 29 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns. It was the Giants’ first Week 1 win at home since 2010, the inaugural season at MetLife Stadium.
“The Giants are going to be a really good team,” Parsons said on his podcast “The Edge with Micah Parsons.”
“From what they showed in the second half, they allowed the Cowboys to touch the football two times. Do you know how impressive that is?”

That was as damn good as I’ve seen in the NFL, bro. I’m more excited about seeing what he does the rest of the year than about their team success because they’re gonna go as he goes.”
Other folks around the league gave Dart credit for the Giants’ stellar performance on “Sunday Night Football.”
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who will face the Giants on “Monday Night Football” in Week 2, said on SiriusXM’s “Let’s Go!” show, “I saw a young team with a bunch of talent. They’re a dangerous team. I thought the Giants did a heck of a job the other night.”
Former head coaches Herm Edwards and Mike Tomlin also gave Dart flowers, along with NBC’s Cris Collinsworth.
“He’s been something else, he really has,” Collinsworth said. “And we’ve seen the physical nature of his play as well. He certainly has had moments, made a few mistakes here and there, taking hits unnecessary, but he has been something tonight.”
