Add Page Six on Google Demi Moore is leaning into the bob … for now, at least.
The 63-year-old actress attended the Thom Browne show during New York Fashion Week on Tuesday with a chin-grazing bob — a sharp departure from her usual long, flowing locks.
She paired her new hair with a head-to-toe Thom Browne look styled by Brad Goreski and comprised of a sheer organza midi skirt, button-down shirt, tie, organza jacket and bomber jacket, all in black.
She added black-and-white heels, a black bag and thick-rimmed glasses; her nails were painted a bright shade of fire-engine red to match the subtle stripes that detail the designer’s clothing.
While Moore has experimented with shorter ‘dos in the past using clever hairstyling tricks and wigs, she’s said she has no plans to actually lop off her long locks.
“I’m protective of the length,” the Oscar nominee told People in January.
“It feels most like me … at the end of the day I love taking it down seeing my hair fall past my waist. It’s like coming home.”
Just a month later, however, Moore hit the Gucci show during Milan Fashion Week with a wet-looking bob — and her beloved pup, Pilaf, in hand.
“Just being able to play and step into another facet of my personality” was fun to explore, she explained of the style switch-up at a Kérastase event in March, calling the temporary makeover an “incredible moment.”
