Add The California Post on Google The driver who hit a Los Angeles Metro bus on Tuesday will be arrested on suspicion of murder after the collision killed two people, police said.
An NBC helicopter covering the bus crash fell out of the sky and went down near the scene. NBC reporter Eliana Moreno and George Marciniw along with a pedestrian died.
Earlier, as the bus rumbled eastbound on Nordhoff street, the SUV slammed into it, embedding itself inside the vehicle. The collision also injured six people including the driver, a woman.
The SUV driver is suspected of reckless driving and running a red light combined with possible DUI, police said.
