Knicks signing John Konchar to one-year contract in depth move

Add The New York Post on Google The Knicks have added another piece ahead of the 2026-27 season.

New York and guard/forward John Konchar have agreed to a one-year contract, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Tuesday night.

Further terms of the deal were not immediately clear.

Veteran NBA journalist Marc Stein recently reported that the Knicks, Magic and Raptors were all teams interested in adding Konchar, while the Miami Herald reported the Heat also had interest.

Getty Images Konchar, 30, has spent seven years in the NBA, mostly with the Grizzlies. In 56 games with Memphis and the Jazz last season, 4.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 19.9 minutes per game.

It lines up closely with his career numbers (4.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 17.6 minutes).
