‘RHOC’ star Jenn Pedranti shades Vicki Gunvalson’s ‘sad’ romance with Michael Smith

With Danny and Evan Celebrity News exclusive ‘RHOC’ star Jenn Pedranti shades Vicki Gunvalson’s ‘sad’ romance with Michael Smith By Samantha Nungesser, Danny Murphy and Evan Real Published Sep. 15, 2026, 1:27 p.m. ET Jenn Pedranti thinks Vicki Gunvalson is secretly disappointed that she’s not engaged yet.

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star spoke exclusively to Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” about Gunvalson’s relationship with her boyfriend, Michael Smith.

Pedranti, 49, said she was “surprised” to hear that Smith had already bought an engagement ring for Gunvalson, 64, but allegedly refused to propose until Gunvalson had been a “good girl” for 90 consecutive days.

While Gunvalson insists her boyfriend’s comment was made in jest, Pedranti said it still “can’t feel good” for the “OG of the OC” to hear that from the man she loves.

“One thing I know about Vicki is she’s a girl, and she has feelings, and you love your man,” Pedranti explained. “Any girl would be like, ‘He’s sitting on the ring, why do I not have it?’”

Pedranti — who is engaged to Ryan Boyajian — said if she were in Gunvalson’s position, she would get so “frustrated” that she would stop trying to “perform” in the relationship.

“That’s got to be hard for Vicki,” she added.

The couple splits their time between their homes in La Quinta, California, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Gunvalson — who left “RHOC” in 2020 — rejoined the franchise for its milestone 20th season this year.

“Four years into our relationship, Mike fills my emotional love tank,” she said in the Season 20 premiere. “Like, I know when I’m with him, I feel empowered. I feel good. He accepts me. I’m a lot to accept.”

While Gunvalson may feel accepted in her relationship, it’s no secret that she has a hard time accepting new faces into the cast.

Pedranti — who joined the show in 2023 — quickly found herself on the other side of Gunvalson’s skepticism, despite her multi-season run as a Real Housewife by the time Gunvalson returned to the show.

The yoga instructor said she found it “interesting” that while their job is to “open up” and “share” their lives, Gunvalson set boundaries with how much she was willing to talk about.

“Vicki will tell you right off, ‘I’m not talking about this, I’m not talking about this, I don’t want to talk about this,'” Pedranti said. “So, if it comes up, she gets frustrated.”

Although the two women got off to a rocky start, Pedranti said there’s a “nurturing” side to Gunvalson that gives her mixed feelings about their friendship.

“It’s so funny with Vicki,” she said. “On one hand, she can say the craziest, rudest things, but on the other hand, you love her.”

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, with new episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.
