Sean Michieli, 25, died Saturday just three months after marrying his 26-year-old Brazilian sweetheart, Gabriela Querino, the Italian outlet L’Unione Sarda reported.
The pair were out on a lagoon looking for bait when their boat collided with a water taxi, throwing them both into the water and sinking their boat.

His bride — who moved to Italy two years ago and was pregnant with their first child — was never found and remains missing. Rescue efforts have been complicated by muddy waters and high tides.
“I just want my daughter back alive,” her mom, Gisele Elorriaga, told Brazilian outlet Globo.
The loved-up couple had been married for just three months. JamPress It’s not known what caused the collision — with darkness and fog being investigated as potential causes — but Venice prosecutors have opened a nautical homicide investigation.
