Add The New York Post on Google Travis Kelce must’ve been saving these gloves for something very important.
The Chiefs’ superstar tight end and now-husband to Taylor Swift snapped at a fan who was trying to snag one of his gloves during the Chiefs’ dominant 31-10 victory over the Denver Broncos.
The moment was captured on camera during the team’s pregame routine, with Kelce heading to the home team locker room and taking off his catching gloves.
Kelce began giving outstretched fan hands a high five or a fist bump; but at least one fan wanted a little more than that.
The Chiefs’ star tight end then smacked those hands away with his opposite hand, looking up at the fans who did it, and the fans looking down at Kelce in disappointment.
Kelce is known for the edge he brings to the game and no one can forget his heated moment with head coach Andy Reid during the 2024 Super Bowl.
His brother Jason Kelce also had a notable moment with fans after his career ended.
The former Eagle great infamously smashed a Penn State student’s phone after the Nittany Lion called Travis a homophobic slur to Jason that he clearly took exception to.
Swift enjoyed the Chiefs’ demolition all the same, as the musician sat next to Tom Cruise in a private suite for the game.
Kelce had just three catches but made the most of them, posting 71 yards in the victory to open the season where he also became the team’s second all-time leading receiver.
